Are you a Flash developer? Consider using Gestureworks Flash

The Most Powerful Authoring Solution for HCI
Gestureworks Core is a powerful multitouch authoring solution for touch tables, walls, kiosks, desktop computers, tablets, mobile phones, embedded devices, and motion recognition devices. Applications can be authored with C++, C# .NET, Java and Python.
The Most Powerful Authoring Solution for HCI Ever Built
Gestureworks Core is an incredibly efficient and powerful authoring solution and touch point cluster analysis system for multitouch and motion recognition. Core includes a library of over 300 pre-built gestures and includes support for the world’s first markup language for multitouch, the Gesture Markup Language (GML).
Multi-Language Support & a Variety of Frameworks
Gestureworks Core for C++, Java, .NET, Python and Unity allows you to author in the language of your choice (ActionScript developers can use Gestureworks Flash). Gestureworks Core provides a standardized development and support for GestureML across multiple languages. We have detailed tutorial examples showing Gestureworks Core with openFrameworks, Kivy, Processing, XNA and Unity 3D.
Windows 8, Windows 7, TUIO Touch Event Compatible
Gestureworks Core is streamlined to take advantage of Windows 7 and Windows 8 native touch events. Gestureworks built applications can run on any multitouch or dual-touch enabled hardware that supports Windows 7, Windows 8, or uses the TUIO Protocol.
Low Latency, ‘Thread Safe’ Processing & Minimal CPU load
Gestureworks processes can run as fast as raw touch data is received from a touch device. You have full control of the Gestureworks processing rate so gestures can be processed beyond 240 frames-per-second (fps) or as low as 1 fps. Because Gestureworks functions on an independent thread from your compiled application, it does this cooperatively using built-in thread safe methods. Gestureworks is designed to use a minimal amount of processing; it performs well on mobile or large mosaic touch screens.

Works on Hundreds of Multitouch Devices
Gestureworks Core works on virtually any Windows 7 or Windows 8 touch-enabled device or screen. In addition, it has been developed to support the full spectrum of large-scale multitouch screen technologies such as:
- Infrared-vision based (Surface1, MultiTaction, PixelSense, Kinect, Leap Motion)
- IR- frame based (PQ labs, ZaagTech, ShadowSense)
- Projected Capacitive (touch foil, N-trig Duosense, 3M Touch System, ELO IntelliTouch Plus, Touch Revolution, Perceptive Pixel)
The efficiency of Gestureworks Core means your projects will have extraordinary performance regardless of the hardware device.
Unlimited Multitouch Authoring, Pro Game Development
Gestureworks Core can be used to author applications for any screen resolution including giant touch walls and tables. It allows for unlimited touch points and rapid performance over other authoring solutions. Gestureworks Core allows for rapid development of complex 3D environments using the Gestureworks Core native Unity3D 4.0 plugin.
Advanced Gesture Visualizer
Gestureworks includes a comprehensive gesture visualizer, which interprets multiple touch points and can identify users' hands and motion. This application allows developers to visualize the interaction seeing raw data such as: the number of touch points, X & Y coordinates, scale, rotation, processed values such as associated gestures and GML and object transformations all in real time.

Revolutionary Gesture-Based Authoring
The Gestureworks Core package comes complete with definitions for scores of pre-built gestures and possibilities for virtually any number of gestures. Core has support for Gesture Markup Language is the world’s first markup language for multitouch. All of the gestures are fully editable and extensible. Support for physical properties like inertia filters, noise filters and other “physical properties” are built into GML. The Gesture Markup Language was developed by Gestureworks.
Universal HCI Engine
Gestureworks Core is the product of years of development and its architecture has been designed from the ground up. Unlike other authoring environments, Gestureworks Core has been developed to be a universal HCI engine. Along with touch screens and motion recognition devices, future plans are for Gestureworks Core to use accelerometers, BCI devices, and other HCI devices. These developments are planned for later in 2013.
