TOKY Multitouch Design Gallery

We wanted a fun way for conference goers to interact with and explore samples of select images and video of our work. We used Box2D and Gestureworks to create a fun, multitouch, physics playground on the HP Touchsmart.

We had initially planned on using the beta version of Flash’s built-in gesture support, but we ran into problems. The beta version of touch in Flash did not support simultaneous gestures and at times seemed to incorrectly handle the rotation gesture. Once we integrated Gestureworks everything just clicked, and the gestures began to behave as expected.

Helpful assets, a great support staff, and the built-in multi-touch simulator saved us countless development hours and resulted in a better product. We are excited to see what the innovative folks behind Gestureworks come up with next.
