Stantum Slate Tablet PC
Overview:
The Slate PC is a proof of concept made to demonstrate Stantum’s digital resistive multi-touch technology capabilities applied to the MID and tablet PC form factor. It’s a modified Dell Mini Inspiron 1010 with a touch module enabling 10 simultaneous touch points and finger-pressure detection. The Multi-touch technology is powered by Stantum’s PMatrix™ IP core and firmware.
We were fortunate at Ideum to have tested an early version of the Slate in-house. Stantum’s device was very capable, showing a lot of promise for great things to come.
