The Ideum Platform 46 multitouch table and the Platform 46 multitouch coffee table were officially announced yesterday. Both of these new touch tables integrate the high-performance 3M™ Multi-Touch Display C4667PW with support for 60 touch points. These innovative touch tables will debut next week at InfoComm 2013 in 3M’s booth (#4873).
New releases are now available for our multitouch frameworks Gestureworks Core and Gestureworks Flash, as well as our Windows 8 utility GestureKey. We've got some great new features and improvements in all three products!
Gestureworks software will be on display at the CeBIT conference in Hannover, Germany starting tomorrow. CeBIT describes itself as "the worlds largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments."
Gestureworks built software will appear on all of the large multitouch displays in the 3M Touch Systems booth (#926) at Digital SIgnage Expo (DSE) 2013 this week in Las Vegas. Our software was also used by 3M during the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) last month. In addition to Gestureworks software demos, a new 3M and Ideum multitouch table prototype will debut. We just posted a short video showing the Unity 3D Game Engine and Gestureworks Core. It is a great solution for multitouch 3D authoring and you'll see in the short video, even on a portable Ultrabook, the application is super fast.
With the release of Gestureworks Core, we want to ensure to our Flash users that ActionScript development will not slow down. The Gestureworks Flash team is now larger and more skilled than it has ever been in past. We are adding new features and components, and integrating developments from Adobe, such as Worker threads, and GPU-acceleration. We are also adding support for exciting new technologies such the Leap Motion, which will give you 3d motion gestures.
Gestureworks Flash 3.5.2 is now available in the downloads section. This is a patch update to fix outstanding bugs and to deliver feature requests, specifically in the ScrollPane and Album elements.
