IDB Treasury – An Information Design Project

The IDB treasury presents interesting and exciting projects that were created in an Information Design program at Stuttgart Media University. Users can interact with the projects, which are shown in the form of project-charts.

We didn‘t want to create an application where the main focus is just on fun and entertainment; we wanted to develop something useful. So this application presents projects created by other designers in our course of study. Both first-year students and people who are interested in media receive an impression of the program of study as well as of the know-how and the skills of the information designers.

At the beginning, we had no idea about ActionScript 3 or Gestureworks and therefore many questions. But the qualified, friendly and fast support of GW helped to overcome these difficulties and create a useful and functional multitouch application.
