Two Finger Double Tap

The ‘Two Finger Double Tap’ event is an extension of a ‘mouse click’ event. When two fingers are placed on the screen and removed twice, the event fires.
Using the Two Finger Double Tap Gesture
The ‘two finger double tap’ event is typically used to control secondary or tertiary navigation, or to control specific objects separate from the main UI.
Mechanics and Code Samples
To register a ‘two finger double tap’ event, two fingers must touch down on the screen and then be lifted up and touched down again within a limited time period and within a limited spatial area on the touch screen surface. This ensures that the gesture registered is actually a ‘two finger double tap’ and not unrelated touch events.

Parameters
All touch and gesture events have a localX and localY (relative) position as well as a stageX and stageY (absolute) position.
In addition, the ‘double tap’ gesture has a patial separation threshold between first tap and second tap. After the first two taps within a certain time period, the event will not respond to subsequent “rapid-fire” taps.
